Elastic templates

View as Markdown

An elastic template is a special kind of template that you can use in embedded scenarios to simplify getting consent to your agreements. Unlike a standard template object, an elastic template wraps your document in a configurable iframe that you can embed in your own websites and apps. You can display an elastic template as a modal (a window positioned over your page), or inline as part of your page.

You can use an elastic template to record agreements from multiple users. Each time a new user accepts an agreement created from your elastic template, that agreement is stored with the elastic template object.

Elastic signing is the core feature of the Docusign Click API. See Elastic signing concepts for details on elastic signing, or the Click API How-to guides overview for example code for working with elastic templates.
