Docusign releases OpenAPI files, formerly known as Swagger files, containing API descriptions that conform to a publicly available specification. The files are in JSON format and are available on GitHub.

You can use OpenAPI files to generate custom code, tools, and documentation, including:

• An SDK in your programming language of choice, if the existing Docusign SDKs don’t include that language, or if you want to add custom functionality to the SDKs that Docusign publishes
• Reference documentation about API requests and responses, if the Developer Center API Reference format doesn’t meet your needs
• Helper functions to use in your integrations
