The files are in JSON format and are available on GitHub.

You can use OpenAPI files to generate custom code, tools, and documentation, including:

* An SDK in your programming language of choice, if the existing [Docusign SDKs](/docs/sdks) don’t include that language, or if you want to add custom functionality to the SDKs that Docusign publishes
* Reference documentation about API requests and responses, if the Developer Center [API Reference](/docs/esign-rest-api/reference) format doesn’t meet your needs
* Helper functions to use in your integrations
