December 1, 2020
Can you believe it’s already December? 2020 is almost over. We’re in the final stretch of things, and we've got lots of news to share with you all. Hold on tight, buckle up, and welcome to another addition of the DocuSign Developer Newsletter.
First, DocuSign unleashed a brand new API this month. It’s called the Monitor API and it’s pretty awesome. Using this API, you can get all the information that you need about who is using your account, how it is used, what they’re doing, and more. Its analysis powers can even help you improve security by detecting anomalies and alerting your staff about potential security breaches. You can learn all about this new API and even test-drive it yourself in our Developer Center.
Next, our Rooms API just got a lot better. Not only have we added more endpoints to support more Rooms features, but now we have also released SDKs in six languages so that you can code in your favorite style. Our code examples are now not only showcasing scripts like Bash and PowerShell, but also C#, Java, Node.js, PHP, Python, and Ruby. Rooms API is now in the big league!
This month Majid Mallis is back in the second part of the SDK saga, where he gets into all the details about how the SDKs are produced. We also have a few new writers with their debut blog posts this month. Paige Rossi will tell you how to use the Apex Toolkit to send envelopes in bulk and Nima Poulad gives you the inside scoop on JWT.IO.
I really hope you find everything you need in our newsletter! As always, let me know if there is something we can improve or provide to make your developer experience even better.
