# Workspaces API rules and resource limits

This page lists the limits on file sizes, API calls, and other restrictions on using the Docusign Workspaces API.

| Maximum storage size per workspace                       | 1 GB                             |
| Number of envelopes or files per workspace (per month)\* | 1000                             |
| Number of Workspaces API calls (per month)\*             | 1,000,000                        |
| Number of Workspace API calls per hour\*                 | 1000 (configurable to go higher) |
| File size                                                | 25 MB                            |
