# How to install the Apex Toolkit

> The Apex Toolkit is available within the Docusign eSignature for Salesforce Essentials managed package. Find out here how to install it on your system.

The Apex Toolkit is available in the Docusign eSignature for Salesforce [managed package](https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N30000001taX4EAI) currently available as a managed package on the Salesforce AppExchange.

To install Docusign eSignature for Salesforce, download and open the managed package, choose the domains that will be granted access to the Docusign eSignature for Salesforce package, and approve access for the Docusign domains.

Once the package is installed successfully, search for and enable the Docusign Setup tab in Salesforce (or enable it in the Docusign eSignature for Salesforce app) and complete the setup by providing credentials for your Docusign sandbox account.

You must log in using the Docusign eSignature for Salesforce login page before you can make API calls.

## Next steps

* After you’ve installed the Apex Toolkit, you will be able to invoke any of the Toolkit’s provided classes and methods in your Apex code, using the `dfsle` prefix.
