The Docusign Click API's *elastic signing* feature enables you to capture consent to standard agreement terms with a single click. Scenarios for elastic signing include terms and conditions, terms of service, terms of use, privacy policies, end-user license agreements, disclosures, and more. Click API is designed to support elastic signing for eSignature. It enables you to create a signing experience in which you embed agreements seamlessly within your web or app pages. You can adapt the contents of your agreements for each signer using dynamic content and conditional content. See [Customize elastic template fields](/docs/click-api/click101/customize-elastic-template-fields) for details. Here’s what an example elastic template agreement looks like when it is deployed into a web page ![Example elastic template in a mobile web view: Tally loan agreement](/_fern-files/_img/27a71895f6dc68fc2b49bee22e027016b9095b457a2bdc72d2faea901959b8a5.webp) When the user agrees to (or declines) the terms, the system records their response. ## API and UI functionality You can create, implement, preview, and implement elastic templates using either the web app or the API. For details on how to use the UI to perform common Click API tasks, see the [Introduction to elastic signing](https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?language=en_US\&bundleId=igo1666647424726\&topicId=izo1572482712002.html&_LANG=enus). #### [Authentication](/docs/click-api/click101/auth) Learn how to authenticate and make calls to Click API #### [Elastic signing concepts](/docs/click-api/click101/concepts) Learn about important concepts of the Click API #### [Manage elastic templates](/docs/click-api/click101/managing-clickwraps) Learn how to manage your elastic templates and handle versioning #### [Rules and resource limits](/docs/click-api/click101/rules-and-limits) Learn about the rules and resource limits for Click API #### [How-to guides](/docs/click-api/how-to) Explore how-to guides demonstrating how to implement elastic signing functionality > Learn where to start working with the Click API. ## Docs - [Authentication](https://developers.docusign.com/docs/click-api/click101/auth.md): Learn how to authenticate with a Click API scope and your chosen OAuth grant (Authorization Code Grant, Implicit Grant, or JSON Web Token - JWT - Grant) - [Elastic signing concepts](https://developers.docusign.com/docs/click-api/click101/concepts.md): Learn about the basic concepts and objects used in elastic signing. - [Managing elastic templates](https://developers.docusign.com/docs/click-api/click101/managing-elastic-templates.md): See how to perform common elastic template management tasks, such as creating, activating, and embedding. - [Elastic signing event callbacks](https://developers.docusign.com/docs/click-api/click101/callbacks.md): See the types of callback methods you can implement to handle elastic signing events. - [Customize elastic template fields](https://developers.docusign.com/docs/click-api/click101/customize-elastic-template-fields.md): Customize your elastic template by adding fields to your documents and providing customer-specific values for them each time you load the agreement. - [Customize elastic template appearance](https://developers.docusign.com/docs/click-api/click101/customize-elastic-template-appearance.md): Learn more about how to use a style attribute to customize the appearance of your elastic template. - [API rules and resource limits](https://developers.docusign.com/docs/click-api/click101/rules-and-limits.md): See the rules and resource limits for calls made to the Click API.
