# Agreement Desk API early access

> Lean about the limitations of the Agreement Desk API early access (EA) release, and see how to request access.

The Agreement Desk API early access (EA) release offers developers early access to the newest Docusign API, which enables you to create and manage Agreement Requests programmatically. These agreement requests represent trackable records for business or legal needs, which can be monitored from a centralized UI dashboard, and acts as a container for all actions, discussion, review, and negotiation associated with that agreement, including support for AI agent-review against legal playbooks, flagging of high-risk terms, and suggestions for alternative language.

In the EA release, only a subset of Agreement Desk functionality is exposed via the API. The following tasks are supported by the Agreement Desk API EA release:

* Create an agreement request
* Add to and get documents from an agreement request
* Share an agreement request
* Get the status of an agreement request

Developer and production accounts do not include access to the Agreement Desk API EA release, by default. You can fill out and submit the [Agreement Desk API early access request form](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeXliwInZEvJM4tKW8RKdO6_s3lPTt-6Zan3av82Pe4xaH2lg/viewform) to request access for your account.

Docusign values user feedback in this phase; developers can share insights and suggestions to help shape the API for future releases.
